§ 6.20.190. Escaped wild animals—Notification by owner.

Any person keeping or maintaining a wild animal that escapes from its confinement shall immediately notify the animal control division of such escape. If any wild animal that is held in captivity or that escapes from such captivity causes any injury to any person or damage to the personal property of any person, compensation for such damage must be paid by the person holding or who held the wild animal in captivity.
