§ 2.88.040. Functions, powers and duties.

In addition to the other provisions of this chapter, the board shall:
A.

Advise the council and chief executive on all actions necessary to carry out the provisions of the animal control regulations dealing with animal control;

B.

Ensure that the animal shelter is operated in a clean and safe manner and provides humane treatment to animals confined at the shelter, and is open to the public at convenient times;

C.

Perform such other duties as are described in the various animal control regulations which are set out in Title 6 of the Butte-Silver Bow Municipal Code.
