§ 2.53.060. Functions, powers and duties.

In addition to the other provisions of this chapter, the department shall:
A.

Employ the necessary, qualified staff to carry out cemetery business;

B.

Have authority to comply with and enforce the state statutes and regulations relative to local cemeteries as provided in Title 7, Chapter 35, Part 41 of the Montana Code Annotated, as amended;

C.

Make reports to the chief executive and council of commissioners on matters which may be requested by the chief executive.
