§ 10.52.790. Violators to report within limited time.

The registered owner of any motor vehicle parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter and for which a citation has been issued as provided in Section 10.52.780 may within seven days after the issuance of such citation voluntarily pay the amount set by the parking commission as bond for the specific violation for full satisfaction for the particular parking violation. If the registered owner of any motor vehicle parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter, and for which violation a citation has been issued shall decline to pay such amount to the parking commission within seven days after the issuance of such citation, the parking commission shall proceed to file a complaint against such person in the city court of Butte-Silver Bow. The maximum penalty for violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars.
