§ 10.52.540. Violators to report within limited time.

The registered owner of any motor vehicle parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter and for which a citation has been issued as provided in the preceding section may within seven days after the issuance of such citation voluntarily pay the amount to be determined by the parking commission for a two-hour continuous parking violation as full satisfaction for the overtime parking violation. If the registered owner of any motor vehicle parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter, and for which violation a citation has been issued, shall decline to pay such amount to the parking commission within seven days after the issuance of such citation, the parking commission shall proceed to file a complaint against such person in the city court of Butte-Silver Bow.
