§ 10.52.470. Two-hour continuous parking zones—Time limit—Exception—Permit.

  • The maximum legal parking time for all two-hour continuous parking zones, except as provided in Section 10.52.450 shall be two consecutive hours; provided, however, that upon application a temporary permit may be issued by the parking director for the extended use of parking space locations in any two-hour continuous parking zone.

    A.

    When any contractor is required by the building official to erect a protective walkway extending into the parking area of the adjoining street; and

    B.

    When it is necessary for a contractor, including a remodeling contractor, because of limited space, to occupy the parking area of the adjoining street with his equipment and materials; and

    C.

    When the parking director determines that other extraordinary circumstances exist.
